This has to be one of my favorite pieces I’ve designed. It took me about a year to figure out and complete this intricate and unique design. Which ended up looking to me like a flying saucer or jellyfish, I’ll let you decide whichever you prefer.
In the center is a Red Aventurine donut bead encased in with very small wire using the netting technic. Below that is 5 layers of tiny Labradorite, New Jade, Onyx beads and chains creating the base of this flying saucer. Within the base is a fairly large crystal quartz that anchor’s the top of this piece and also helps the draping chains maintain its circular shape. The top is a 12mm round Smokey quartz that is encircled with Labradorite and New Jade and other sterling silver elements. Which leads up to the bail that is hand woven and embellished with 2mm beads.
The chain is 25¾ inches of a very sturdy rolo chain with a secure ½ inch lobster clasp. The chain also extends past the clasp on both ends to drape down your back and on each end are three small Labradorite beads to finish the design.
