That is me (on the left) with my amazing husband and our handsome son on our beautiful property in sunny Southern California. My interest in any kind of arts started when I was about seven years old, being very inspired by my mom’s vast creativity from casting jewelry to charcoal drawings. My mom is truly responsible for inspiring and nurturing my creativity.
At this point of my life, I’ve been obsessed with learning the different techniques of wire wrapped jewelry and the challenges of figuring out how to create a clean and structurally sound design. I’ve also dabbled in different mediums such as painting on canvas, gluing small intricate pieces of paper to form portraits of famous people and even small scale murals.
Around late 2005 I started beading jewelry, but having a love for metals the direction of my jewelry making started evolving into chain maille and wire wrapping. Not only that, the fascination in discovering different tools and how to use them (properly and improperly) helped me grow in my jewelry making skills. I’ve been fortunate enough to have taught classes at a local bead shop which has also helped me in strengthen my own techniques.
